A modern rep of historical significance

I have this hat in 2 colors and wore them in Korea during my last visit. My cousin in Korea loved it so much that I gave both to her before heading back home, since I can easily reorder here. If you didn't know why this flag looks different, then a quick google search of the title of the hat would’ve answered that.

Incorrect Representation of Korea

This is not the Korean national flag. The Korean national flag has a black advertising language on a white background and a blue and red circle. Selling in this item feels quite bad and humiliated as a Korean.

Hi Hannah,

This flag isn't the national flag, but rather known as the Ahn's Flag of 1909, a symbol of Korea's independence from Japanese imperialism. Ahn Jung Geun was one of the independent activists who pledged to fight for Korea's independence by cutting off a part of his left fourth finger and wrote the characters 大韓獨立 (or 대한독립, meaning independence of Korea) with his blood on the Korean flag.
