Last week, we teamed up with our friends at T1 Entertainment & Sports in hosting their exclusive North America Worlds Pop-Up on September 22. Home to e-sports legends like Faker (League of Legends), Gumayusi (League of Legends), Oner (League of Legends), MkLeo (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate), T1 is a global organization contracting game masters from League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Overwatch, and more. In celebration of their North America (NA) launch, we at KORELIMITED partnered with them for their exclusive pop-up. And for those that missed the opportunity to attend the event, we’ve made sure to show a quick recap of the night.
The pop up opened with KORELIMITED and T1 esports fans getting priority access to unreleased T1 apparel and accessories, special goodie bags, photo-ops, and raffle giveaways. With an unexpected influx of attendees, shoppers were lined up for a non-stop two hours to indulge in pre-released T1 and KORELIMITED merchandise. In the midst of preparing for Worlds, T1 players Faker, Gumayusi, Zeus, Oner, Keria made a quick appearance for an intimate meet and greet allowing fans to get jerseys signed and take quick selfies.
Also spotted enjoying the event were Sentinel’s Valorant player TenZ, Twitch Streamer Kyedae, Artist Shannon Williams, Keyboard Designer Taeha Types, Youtuber & Twitch Streamer Karl Jacobs, AustinShow, Kevjumba, Reapered, Alex Reid, Rekstizzy, and more.
Known as the birthplace of esports, South Korea was one of the first countries to create esports into a professional career. As a brand that celebrates and embodies all parts of Korean culture, it was an exciting experience for us to team with T1 and journey with them on the expansion into North America. Make sure to keep an eye out for their Worlds dates all throughout this month in October.
