Korean College Fashion Trends

Korean college fashion is both comfortable and stylish. It’s common for students’ clothing to have an oversized silhouette. Loose dresses, boyfriend jeans, and chunky sneakers are often incorporated into outfits as well. A staple of many college students’ closets is also a sweatshirt and sweatpants set paired with a coat. Urban accessories such as chains, pins or pendants are also commonplace, adding some edge to the relatively relaxed look found in Korean fashion.

Incorporate this chill clothing style into your closet with our Klassic 1988 hoodies and crewnecks, as well as our KORE University hoodies. You can also recreate these looks with our Trigram Square hoodie and sweatpants set (available in both Lavender and Black). If you’re in need of some accessories, make sure to check out our Love Is Dead and K Trigram Tiger pins to bring your laid back look to the next level.

American College Fashion Trends

The current trends undoubtedly brought us back to the 90s, with the resurgence of the Y2K era and old-school color patterns. With the summer came bold prints and bright colors, bringing a nostalgic air to the clothing worn by college-aged students in the U.S. With the fall season, these unique prints continue to be popular, albeit in more muted colors. Similar to Korea, oversized clothing has also found its way into American college fashion; with straight-leg pants and large shirts being staples in outfits.

If you’re interested in the summer trend of bright, vintage color patterns, check out our Mugunghwa Button Up and our KORELIMITED Warp Bucket Hat. These vibrant colors and classic tie-dye design are sure to give your wardrobe the same summer camp vibes from your childhood as you go back to school.

For those more interested in the muted versions of these trends for the fall season, check out our KORE Stamp Tee; available in Navy, Lavender, Sage, and Black.
